Morland Church Fete 2004

A new old attraction to the Fete (built 1897) could be pleasantly heard all over the village.

Keeping wrapped up was the answer! The NEW kids corner was well supported until the rain came! Well made Clown!

Don't lose your bottle under the umbrellas!!

A lucky little reader with her mobile mum!

Helen, the local mobile hairdresser can be called on 07796 638447.

Rebecca and her pet win first prize!

A hot drink was most welcome! Checking the cash or cashing the cheques!

The refreshment team provided continuous cream teas until the end of the afternoon

Its good to be together out of the rain!

The beautiful quilts and attractively handknitted soft toys

were made/presented by Judith Lightburn, Kathleen Lisle and Marian Blenkham

Guess who?

The Newby Clowns, Michael and Moira Smith,

despite all the rain, were a colourful attraction at the fete!

Mean guys - Rob Steels and Vic Brunette brought laughter in the gloom with their Wild West Act.

David McLean MP and Nick Horsley discuss some of the fine produce at the fete.

Four of the five Organisers - Alan Green, Judith Lightburn, Hardre Jackson and Derek Evans
