The Power of the Tower!

On 17th July 2004 many of the local people of Penrith attended St Andrews Church in the town centre, some took to the heights, together with the Bishop of Penrith and David Maclean MP. The first to test the ropes in this abseiling first was Revd Chris Casey from the Church. Throughout this sunny Summer day a host of local people successfully descended the sandstone tower between 10.30 and 3.30pm.
