AMBLESIDE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Ambleside was alive with street entertainers and music

Local people dressed in the spirit of the occasion glad that the rain had kept off for once

While the main street was alive with the sound of the Drummers

much to the delight of the assembled crowd

The support of charities was evident and face painting and girl guide activites all helped

While magic and an amazing escape artist
all added to the mystery and excitement of the day

Despite the cold and damp this CHOIR sang a range of harmonised pieces to be proud of!

BUT at 4.15pm a procession of spectacular lanterns and costumes ....

made its way up the main street
