APPLEBY CARNIVAL 2009
Sat 12 and Sun 13th July


The Appleby Mayor and Mayoress prepare in the Moot Hall

Near to Christine Rose Designs the Chairman, treasurer and H and S Officer are ready for the event


The event team take a picture call by the moot hall prior to the carnival


The Carnival Queen is crowned by Mayor Lance Thwaites


The activities get underway, the parade begins and thankfully ....

.... the sun continues to shine ...

... and all the fun of the carnival continues ....


everyone enjoying the party atmosphere with fancy dress

and a royal flavour!

Whether it was a winners sheild, a ride on a train or a pirates scream....it was all great fun!
