The Appleby Horse Fair 2009
Thursday 4th - 11th June


Right on time ...


this historic travellers fair took place in Appleby Cumbria


Filling the streets with travellers and visitors from different parts of the country

On the Sunday there was a special travellers mass ...

... at which some of the children received their first holy communion


the well known songs all helped to make the service

a memorable occasion for the organisers (pictured - far right) and all those who attended


and found a sense of togetherness in the occasion
