APPLEBY FUN RUN 2009
Sunday 5th July


The 2009 fun run was well supported by runners of all ages and all experience


After a short delay due to late entries and the odd picture or two, the race got underway ....


.... to an energetic start


...the runners and - RIDERS - soon descending into Appleby town


...some 20 minutes later the front runners finished the race (pictured are the first three to finish)


As time went by all those who had enjoyed taking part in the race returned ....

.... to a souvenir medal and W A T E R !!!!

Everyone agreed, that whatever place was achieved ...

...it certainly had been a great FUN RUN!!
