APPLEBY AGRICULTURAL SHOW

The cattle as usual were one of the main attractions and it was noticeable that some entusiastic youngsters enjoyed the day

In the tents there was a fine selection of art work and flower arrangements


Eye catching art!


Bonny calf .......................... reluctant calf .......................smiley calf!


And FIRST for cheese and lots more is The Appleby Bakery


There were lots of well supported entries in the dog classes


Time for the awards


with a large table needed for the trophies and the excellent number of successes


Young farmers pull for glory in the tug of war demonstration - great fun!!


and an energetic Appleby group perform an acrobatic display to thrill the enthralled spectators


As the black clouds gather the successful show jumping events draw to a close
