to an invited audience of over 1,000


During the songs a thurifer leads representatives of the deaneries as they display candles
representing the new ways in which the light of Christ shines among them


A music group from St Thomas' Church Kendal led the singing and musical praise
the archbishop joined in on one occasion

A Working Breakfast at 7.30am
at the Cown and Mitre Hotel, Carlisle


with representatives of business
and the community services .....

..... an interview for Cumbria Radio and also BBC TV

stressing the importance of
Community Building, Youth, Volunteering
and working together.
