AUTUMN FLOWER FESTIVAL
St. John's Church, Bassenthwaite


On Sunday 27th September the congregation was surrounded by the wonderful creative work of the village

Flowers and craft combined to produce a wonderful display of colour

While the hearty singing made for a very uplifting service which was attended
by The Right Rev James Newcome the new Bishop of Carlisle

Following the service,

refreshments were served in the church room at the crossroads


The home made food was certainly well appreciated by all who attended ....

WELL all except for the farmer who decided to stay on his tractor!!
