MEET THE BISHOPS AT ROSE CASTLE
Sunday 13th July 2008

The five Bishops
Bishop Bigirimana from Burundi, Bishop Graham Dow (Cumbria)
Bishop Devasahayam from India, Bishop Wandag from the Phillipines
and Bishop Smith from South West Florida, USA

Among other clergy was the Dean of Carlisle Cathedral who managed the event


and invited members of the churches from the Diocese of Carlisle together with the Solway Plain Team Ministry Music Group


The Mothers Union kindly provided refreshments ..


.. while BBC Radio Cumbria's Martin Plenderleith
interviews Bishop Wandag from the Philippines


Tea, coffee and cakes were apprecaiated and enjoyed by everyone


The children were provided with special games
and activities and a tea and biscuits at the end

Two of the special speakers used the chapel
to tell of their ministry in their particular countries

The Bishop of Carlisle concluded the afternoon
with prayers and songs
