The Bluebell Bookshop
once again provided an ideal setting for an evening of story telling and song!

THE MIDDLE YARD

Nick Hennessey (harp) and Simon Heywood (guitar)

provided an exceptional evening
of storytelling and music

that held the audience for over an hour and a half.
The main story followed one of Irelands greatest mythological heroes
LUGH LAMFHOTA
as he faced challenges of leadership, power, corruption and ambition.
This was a wopnderful opportunity to witness
two professional story tellers revealing this personal story
of tradgedy and revenge at it best!

The interval
was welcomed as the audience were invited to enjoy real food and drink

Students from Cumbria University as well as ....

more local residents....

.... and visitors from Newcastle
all joined in and helped to make it
a great evenings entertainment for all.
