........ but the weather was pretty precarious!!
BUT..... country folk down here are used to the changeable weather ....
... and it was fairly dry in the craft tent or in the announcers van!
These people had travelled some considerable distance
to take part in the events at the show
The under 10's fell race was welcomed
by some of the most hardy boys and girls at the show .....
.... who, despite the appalling weather took to the track with lots of enthusiasm!!
The first THREE runners were congratulated on their pluck and stamina.....
BUT, BECAUSE OF THE BAD WEATHER THE ADULT RACE WAS ABANDONED!!
