MORLAND CHORISTERS CAMP
SING EVENSONG IN THE CATHEDRAL
AND PERFORM
TREASURE ISLAND
at
PENRITH METHODIST CHURCH

Singing evensong in the Cathedral was one of the major hightlights of the week

The service was attended by parents and many other people visiting Carlisle

and for many it was a great priveledge to hear this well rehearsed choir

On Saturday evening in Penrith Methodist Church ....

.... the concert of secular music was just as impressive

with an original version of Treasure Island occupying the second half of the concert

and captivating the audience with its tonality and strength of performance

All in all ....very enjoyable and a credit to all involved

SUNDAY

The procession through the village to the church ....

.... where the sung morning service was attended by residents and a number of parents of the choristers

In the afternoon.... parents and choristers met in the school
when a special cake was cut by Frances
celebrating 40 years
of the camp

Following the special tea the traditional awards and appreciations took place

... highlighting some of the many achievements of the week

FAREWELL

Following evensong in the parish church choristers, friends and families say their sad goodbyes

What is certain is that for the forseeable future this event will remain on the personal calendar

of many of the regular supporters ....

....even though many have to travel back to far flung places

Its all part of the great musical adventure of Morland Choristers Camp
