of the Penrith Day Hospice ...

... was officially opened on Thursday 3rd April
by Lorna Sharpe (Member of the League of Friends and Volunteers)
and Sheena Reid (Manager of the Day Hospice)

A warm welcome can always be found
at No.15 Cafe Bar and Gallery opposite John Norris in Penrith ...

... and during APRIL the delicate weaving from the
Penrith Day Hospice can be seen ....

.... side by side with the
delicious home made food and drink of the cafe bar

The Penrith Day Hospice
offers medical and social care for people with life limiting illness.
Situated at Penrith Hospital it is open from 10am - 3pm each Thursday.
The Day Hospice team consists of nurses, a doctor, an occupational therapist
and physiotherapist as well as a chaplain.
Also available are hand care therapists and other volunteers.
The service is part of the North Cumbria Palliative Care Team
(which includes Macmillan Nurses, Hospice at Home and Eden Valley Hospice)
