REFRESHING SPOT FOR GRASMERE WALKERS
As Easter approaches the desire to move out of the house
and greet the improving weather,
venture into the idyllic lake district with friends or family becomes more and
more like a reality.
While hardened walkers will venture well beyond the
Winters receding snow line
there are many more who just love a quiet walk beside
some of the most peaceful stretches of water to be found in this area.

Rydal and Grasmere must rate as two of the most
impressive and be welcomed by
families new to the lakes as well as those for whom
the challenge of the high peaks has now become a far distant memory.
The success of a walk for many people and especially for those with children,
relies upon FEATURES.
One wonderful feature of the walk around greasmere is
FAERYLAND!!

.... a warm welcome as well as hot tea and coffee
is always on the menu....
maybe more!

Situated just outside the village on the small road on the western side of the
lake
it has impeccable views of the surrounding fells
as well as boats and wild life
and seasonal food and drink.
