GARRIGILL CARNIVAL
Monday 30th August
There was lots to do at the Garrigil Carnival
with an historic photographic display in the vIllage hall and the post office open for odd items
The Carlisle Jazz band entertained with some great jazz pieces while people browsed through the books and other stalls in the village
Inside the village hall was an amazing collection
of old Garrigill pictures
while a few yards away was a fine selection od classic cars in pristine condition
The duck race caused lots of interest including the B I G yellow duck!!!
In the competition tent were a fine selection produce including arts and crafts and other items
The fancy dress attracted over half a dozen entrants but the pink duck (left) from the studio was chosen to be the winner
Waiting for the ducks ..... as they made their way downstream
