MUSGRAVE RUSHBEARING

The parade started at about 2pm ...

... unusually, the group pictures were taken inside the village hall this year

while outside umbrellas were at a premium!!

BUT .... the parade got underway in between the showers

the flowers and crosses kept as dry as possible

while this old tradition was kept well and truly on track towards the church

led by the Kirkby Stephen Silver Band

who were invited to tea and cakes in the village hall after the parade

and were interviewed
by BBC Radio Cumbria
