My own contribution

to the area as a photographer and writer
has always been aimed at bringing the good news of local achievement
to the appreciation of the wider community.
Bearing in mind the many constraints of copy space
in local papers
it would appear likely that the future for much of my material
lies in this wonderful new venture and it is hoped that
EDEN ONLINE NEWS
may become a regular feature of day to day surfing experience.
It may well turn out that this
new site may also become a valuable resource
for traditional news gatherers and that
many of the local items of news,
pictures and stories may be seen first by visiting

This is very much a new undertaking
and the success of the venture will be influenced largely
by the support of local people and
the quality and interest level of the published material.
HOWEVER
since it's subtle launch on August 1st 2003
the number of visitors to this site
has now reached nearly
- FIFTEEN...T H O U S A N D -
and a number from as far away as
Denmark, Italy, Australia, Venice and the USA!
