The Keswick Traditional Christmas Fayre 2007
SUNDAY 2nd DECEMBER


At 12.30pm Fayre was officially opened


Everyone had loads of fun ...with music, dance and singing.

The Mayor found the candles and holly
particulary attractive

Fiona Armstrong, Tim Backshall and the team campaign to
SAVE CUMBRIA'S MOST POPULAR NEWS PROGRAMME - LOOK AROUND!!

Three of the most spectacular costumes
to be seen at the Fayre

The Balfagen Womens Morris Dancers attracted lots of spectators in the market square

The Rainbow stall makes winners for all while Tim make music with the samba band for a couple of items

All produce at the Fayre was sold in aid of various deserving charities

Prize winners in the Children's Fancy Dress took to the stage

Whether you were infront or behind the stalls, everyone had a great day out

Whether you were SELLING, SINGING or SEEING SANTA it was great fun at this Traditional Christmas Fayre

1pm Travelling Light Band (Packhorse Court)
1.15pm Judging of Best Costume (on stage)
1.25pm Announcement of Winners and presentation of trophies
Best dressed stall / Best shop window competition / Best costumes
1.30pm Keswick School Stage Band
1.45pm Kokopelli (Lake Road)
2pm “Searching for Santa” by Keswick Street Theatre (Museum Square)
2pm Keswick Mountain Singers
2.30pm Nelson Tomlinson School Samba Band
2.30pm Travelling Light Band (Packhorse Court)
3pm Keswick Mountain Singers
3pm “Searching for Santa” by Keswick Street Theatre (Museum Square)
3.30pm Community Carol Singing

4pm Charity Stalls Close
4.30pm Songs of Praise at St.Johns Church

Local band “Obrigado” will also be playing at selected times during the day.

Entertainment on the Main Stage is sponsored by Bassenthwaite Rotary Club, Keswick Lions,
and Keswick Rotary Club.
