The fete was duly opened at 12.30 on a gloriously sunny day

and the face painting and beef burgers proved to be great attractions on the field

as were the amazing jugglers and the Scottish Dance team
 |
 |

 |
 |
 |
 |
followed by a number of exciting and challenging races ....
