NEWBY GARDEN FESTIVAL
Sat 1st August 3pm onwards
Those who went to the Newby Garden Festival
... were greeted to a fine display of produce - flowers, bottled wine, vegetables and lots lots more
The barn was decked out to suit the occasion and was the site for refreshments and the results of all the competitions
Those with the task of deciding THE BEST had some difficulty as the standard of entry was so high
BUT all in good time, the results were achieved and the board posted the final results
Away from the barn there were games to play and in the tents a balloon competition
and craft activities to show your skill and occupy little fingers!
Skilled fingers produce FIRSTS!!
But on the field it was all FUN!
In the evening it was arranged for a local band to while away the dark hours
and bring this successful event to a close for another year
