NEWBY GARDEN FESTIVAL
Saturday 7th August


The sun shone and the festival started at 3pm with a flurry of spectacular hats

The wine judges enthusistically tasted the wine


while others studied the wonderful variety of vegetables and flowers that filled the display area


Two young artists were on hand to help with hat creations

while in another part of the area the valued red rosettes were displayed alongside winning produce
and a tent was availeble for young children to exercise their creative skills


Among the variety of games - above is the throwing the wellie winner!


And also to be seen was a new enterprise starting next year - Eden Valley Tours by Caravan (left)
and it was great fun on the horizontal pole or just to have your face painted!!
