THE PENRITH AGRICULTURAL SHOW
Saturday 26th July 2008
The weather was great
and there was a fine turnout of cattle for the show
The Royal Scotts Association Pipe Band proved to be a great hit and quite conventional
Some of the cattle hands proved to be eye catching in their own way!
There was no doubt that it was a great fun event which held the crowd right to the very end
.... and local photographer FRED WILSON - President of the Show, even found time to take his own pictures ...
while the extreme bikes reached some great heights and precarious positions much to the acclaim of the crowd
BUT taking the best pictures were the calves, cattle, cow girls and...
... of course those cuddley little pups...
... and high flying horses (Joanna Bell rides)
In the industrial tent ..... two winners whose craft exhibits earned them high praise
CONGRATULATIONS!!
