THE PENRITH AGRICULTURAL SHOW 2010
SAT 24th JULY


The day started fine and a good crowd arrived for the show


The agricultural attractions supported by the trade stands made sure that everyone had lots to see and hear....
including the Queensberry Pipe Band

While in the industrial tent a fine display of flowers attracted local gardeners including Morland Winners with their Black and White winning entry

Preparing the animals and attention to detail meant that winning rosettes were not far away

For others, it was just getting out, enjoying the carnival atmosphere and all the fun of the fair!

There were a number of horse events attracting spectators as well as some of the most well known enthusiastic riders

But jumping wasnt just for the horses .... these fit dogs went through their paces with very little effort

Also taking the coveted red rosette were the above, all delighted with their animals and hard work

Also available at the show was Local MP Rory Stewart who enjoyed meeting people of the area

who all agreed that it had been a great day out!
