AN ECUMENICAL PILGRIMAGE
TO THE HOLY LAND
May 16th - 26th 2011

... exceptional guides and stunning scenes were all included in the itinerary of this amazing pilgrimage

At each of the numerous Holy Sites the thoughts and prayers of the pilgrims were lead .... by the above

as we walked from place to place in the direct sun.....looking for shade at every opportunity ..

being less experienced than the desert Bedouin tribes at coping with the heat

One of the hottest places was the mountain top site of Masada the scene of an historic battle with the Romans

However peace could be found for a short while on the Sea of Galilee

and at the very thought provoking Holocaust Memorial

Clearly there was lots to see and even more to think about

as the eighty strong group travelled from place to place

and even visited an old monastery high in the hills


and woodland for a picnic in the shade
