The glorious sun shon on a fine selection of cattle

... while the Penrith Town Band entertained the growing crowd

and the president Glenn Tubman MBE discusses the finer points of the show with members of the committee

while the jolly members of a hen party enjoyed all the fun of the show

Among the many crafts and skills exhibited was that of wood carver Mick Priestley
who won an award for the best small stand and a fine set of exhibits

A cup and First Prize went to the owner of a vintage 1960 Hillman Minx kept in wonderful condition over the years by Martin Proctor of Kendal
