STAVELEY CARNIVAL 2010


On Sunday 11th July Staveley saw the amazing colourful procession
wend its way around this attractive Cumbrian village


Following weeks of creative work by lots of people, it all came together in a blaze of colour topped with some great band sounds too


The face of enthusiasm

was evident from the youngest upwards


Red, yellow, blue and green dominated the costumes

while the precision drumming kept everyone on their toes
and some on STILTS!!

Following the procession, it was time for FOOD, FUN and ice cream!
