Costa's made a HUGE Paella for the May Day celebrations
in Penrith.

totalling nearly £4,000 for the
JIGSAW APPEAL
At the Carnival Jesus Rodriguez and his staff made a HUGE Paella
which was sold to hungry people during the parade.
In fact four big dishes with different types of paella were made
and sold in aid of the JIGSAW APPEAL on the day.
The delicious seafood, mixed and meat paellas raised £1,230.

well on its way to achieving its

After the presentation George Dudson (retiring President of Penrith Lions)
said 'It had been a wonderful May Day Carnival and thanks to
all residents and visitors who had supported the event,
£2,769
was raised in support of
the Eden Valley Hospice Jigsaw Appeal.'
Jesus Rodrigues also said that they at Costas
fully appreciated all those suppliers who had kindly donated produce
to support the May Day Lions Appeal.
Many thanks to

and that only with their help
was it all made possible!
