Warcop - Past and Present Exhibition

Warcop Village Hall

The exhibition attracted a considerable number of interested visitors

There was a lot to see.
Many were deep in their investigations of Warcop past.

Studying was intense at times

The children's corner

Even the youngest of visitors looked for pictures of the past

Some items were of great interest to the children particularly

Family history was a subject to be studied in detail for some of the visitors

Look on the shelves and what do you see.....
containers and tins that remind me of me!

Three of the people who have been responsible for putting the exhibition together
George Atkinson, Pat Brady (Secretary) and Michael Gregson (Chairman Village Hall)
who has personally contributed a great deal of the exhibits.

 

Craft Fair Exhibition in the Warcop Reading Rooms

Elizabeth Atkinson,Sam Beattie (Lilliput Lane Collectors Club)
and Alan Hoyle who makes almost anything you can think of out of wood!

The organisers of the Craft Exhibition were Elizabeth Atkinson and Jean Hoyle.

Visitors from Gt Asby take a deep interest in the exhibits

Even the youngest of the village are interest in craft.
Chelsea loves making things and is a member of a craft club which is made up of youngsters who are under 13 age pupils and ex-pupils of Warcop School.

The club is run by Elizabeth, Jean and Ann.
