WARCOP RUSH BEARING
June 28th 2010


It has been said that for 27 years Warcop Rushbearing Day has enjoyed great weather

This year was no exception and colour and enthusiasm filled the streets of Warcop from 2pm

... as the rushbearing procession was led through the village by the sound of drums and the flourish of the banners

It was clear that lots of time and skill had been used in the preparation for the procession

as was the planning of the tea party ....


and the walk to

Warcop Parish Church for the traditional Rushbearing Service conducted by the Rev Brian Magorrian.
